How far can VZ go?

A good growth momentum from the beginning of the year. I think the highest value of VZ stock was around 60 dollars. Can VZ go over it in the near future?

It won't last

I know everybody and their aunt are excited about the "best daily performance in almost 15 years" for the stock, but this is nothing but a blip. Verizon is a badly managed company and I don't see this lasting. In fact, the price is already going back... — read more

That's some mighty nice looking dividend

83% is impressive and nobody can deny it. Barring something unexpected happening, this should be a sure bet for anybody who is focused on dividends, rather than stock growth. I don't know any other telecom stock that comes close, other than AT&T... — read more

I’m afraid of what will happen to VZ stock.

Seeing what has happened to AT&T and seeing the decline that VZ has had from the beginning of the year I have to be honest and say that I’m truly scared about what could happen in a few quarters. Is there any method to this madness? What are the... — read more

I think this is a good time to buy.

The stock already went down in 2022, and I think that the time of volatility is over, at least for the time being. The stock looks better than most of the competitors, especially AT&T and It' only a matter of time when the rise of value will start... — read more

I’m not sure VZ is a good long term investment.

VZ's stock value has never surged significantly, and given the current uncertain market conditions, it is unlikely to do so. With the industry undergoing changes, concerns about the stability of the stock and the company's dividend policy arise. It... — read more

1Q23

Stock price in the $30 range is disappointing. Perhaps 5G wireless services will reignite earnings, but I'm not confident that the quarterly financial results will be good. What are your predictions?

Another disappointing quarter

Adding a little over 40k wireless postpaid phone subscribers is not enough to balance out the disappointing outlook. I had high hopes for this quarter but I guess my faith in Verizon and its management was once more displaced. I think it might be... — read more

Could Verizon's stock return to $40 per share?

I blame the management for this stock performing so badly over the past year. Some are pessimistic and do not even believe that VZ may see $40 again. We'll see, but in any case the company needs radical changes.

This stock is pain

Stiff competition, weakened economy... These are not good signs. Some predict that the price could drop to $25, that is, that VZ will continue tanking. To add a few more shares or wait? I need some help deciding.

25 years ago the stock price was the same as it is now

That says a lot about how this company is run. I no longer think that now is a great opportunity to buy and hold. It is very likely that I will get out of this stock soon. The question remains, why is Hans still the CEO? As soon as he opens his... — read more

If Warren Buffett sold these shares, ...

Performance of VZ stock is very poor. The ultimate disappointment. I think that disappointment will last as long as the current leadership is at the top of the company. After Buffett sold shares, I wonder why I'm still holding on to them? Maybe we... — read more

I turned off 5G

I went back to 4G because it turned out that 5G not only has no advantage for me over 4G, but also works much worse. I know many will say I'm wrong, but I'm pretty skeptical of Verizon's 5G wireless investments. Any thoughts?

How are you satisfied with Verizon Stock?

My question obviously goes to long-term investors. I have a long-term, dividend-based portfolio and was thinking of adding some Verizon shares to it. It looks like a nice, stable stock, but you know, a few other opinions won’t hurt.

VZ stock is going nowhere

It's been like that for years now. It has managed to consistently underperform analyst expectations over and over again. I held on for a while because of the dividend but I've finally given up hope that something positive will happen any time soon. I... — read more

Verizon or AT&T?

What’s a better buy right now, Verizon or AT&T? Just looking at the dividend, AT&T and it’s 6.8% is the obvious winner - but the question is for how long it’ll be able to maintain those numbers with its debt as high as it is and constantly growing... — read more
