Thread regarding Intel (INTC) stock

They raised $20 billion and the stock still slid

Intel just sold a bunch of shares to investors. Diluted existing holders by a few percent, and the price took a hit right after. Down from over 100 to around 89 in a couple weeks. They say the money's for AI and expanding their factories. The AI side is doing great, data center revenue jumped, but the manufacturing piece is still burning cash. They've made technical progress, but profitability looks distant. The stock's still way up for the year. Feels like they timed the offering right near the top.
