Thread regarding ExxonMobil (XOM)

I understand that most people who buy XOM buy it to be a long time part of their portfolio, but if there was a time not to buy that time is now.
Even though the oil prices are good, it didn’t take more that a few days of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict to show just how much the O&G industry was vulnerable to worldwide geopolitical issues.
I won’t go that far to say that something catastrophic is going to happen regarding XOM stock but we could be in for huge dives in stock in the near future. To put it another way, my eye is not completely off XOM but I definitely think there will be a better time to buy or at least an opportunity to pick it up at a much lower price.
