At some point the potential of the stock should not be the only reason a certain investor buys it. Besides the potential for producing value I tend to analyze the most probable path by which the stock will reach a desired value.
FMC screams volatility, and putting aside the fact that it does show a lot of potential, I chose to stay away from it.
