I know that the general premise is that GM is too big to fail and that it is a good time to pick it up at this price because the time when it rises again will come. In this case I think that this logic should be abandoned and that anyone who has a little common sense should stay away from stocks of automakers, GM in particular. The transition to producing EVs is not going well, these are some uncertain times in the industry and the supply issues are not probably going to be solved any time soon. All of this only looks like a lot of uncertainty, and a bad way to invest. If one wants to buy within the auto industry and is tempted only by the price, maybe it’s a better idea to pick up Stellantis at $12 or Ford at $15.
