Thread regarding AT&T (T)

Or are we panicking and overreacting? There are not great times for T, that’s for sure, the debt is high, some bad business decisions were made, an the general economic environment in the country isn’t helping.
Aside from those facts, I think T is still far from failing. The stock has been in low numbers multiple times during the last 20 years or so and nothing happened. The dividend was always safe and the stock recovered.
I understand that these kind of things are making investors nervous, but is this situation really catastrophic to the degree that long time shareholders should hurry up to dump their stock? I think not?
