And to be very precise, the recent dive and stock value and the poor earning don’t worry me too much. It’s the general performance and the direction in which Intel is heading that’s upsetting to me as a stockholder.
Intel always performed cyclically, with bad times followed by good periods for the company, but it always had relatively good products and a very wide market presence. Now, with Intel performing so poor in what is perhaps the biggest chip shortage of all times, when chipmakers can practically dictate the price of their products, it doesn’t sound like good news to the company, much less for the stockholders. Only God knows what’s going to happen when recession kicks in to the maximum. In any case I believe we are in a period where the stock value is only going to decline.
