The stock reached its peak in 2021 and is on a declining path. I understand the primary motive for people to buy Nike is the dividend but I imagine none of them want to lose a lot of money on the stock value itself.
It is obvious that the declining trend is present with this stock and we have seen that it has the potential to lose half of its value. I’m not saying Nike will foll or whatever, but maybe it’s better to leave the money meant for the stock purchase and pick it up later when it is trading at a much lower price.
