I purchased Allscripts a little less than a year ago and so far no good came from it. I guess the upside is that I didn’t lose money on it, but now it is clear from my perspective that this stock has no potential to produce any sort of value. I don’t think that whoever buys is in real danger of the stock taking a big tumble from this position, but making a profit on it is closer to wishful thinking. Almost any company in this sector is a better investment than Allscripts.
