After constant restructuring, consolidating and shedding, I was not at all surprised by the announcement that GE will split into three companies.
The split will not happen soon, but I am interested in what split means for shareholders?
Specifically, will certain $GE shares that a person owns subsequently be distributed so that a shareholder will have a third of those shares in GE Health, a third in GE Aviation and a third in GE Power?
