Thread regarding Viacom (VIAB)

VIAC

Recovery first and then wait for jumps in Viacom's bottom line. They are focused on cost cutting for now, which is fine, but Viacom will have to grow revenue ASAP in order to stay relevant. I cannot see other way for them to move this stock up... Now the world is hungry for content and that may be one of the engines behind growth to come.

I am not sure what else will be happening.

What a joke. I believe that Viacom is a buy at 25-35 tops. Showtime content can't compete. Can't make it on Star-trek alone - Enough is enough. TV stations are past the election advertising surge. Leverage?? Two years ago all we heard was criticism of the CBS-Viacom merger.

Redstone said that the stock was underpriced (and I agreed) when she picked up shares in the 20's. But, now we know what the banks are doing with Fed largess - lending for margin. This shows that the underlying market valuation is a house of cards.

Wait for the next surprise.
