- 83% is impressive and nobody can deny it. Barring something unexpected happening, this should be a sure bet for anybody who is focused on dividends, rather than stock growth. I don't know any other telecom stock that comes close, other than AT&T, but the company has been reducing its dividend and is much less secure. My bet is on Verizon.
