This is my main dividend stock, I've been holding onto it since I bought it at $50 four years ago and even with all the fluctuation I never considered selling it. You buy MPC for the dividend, it's as simple as that. And considering that I see some additional dividend raises in the relatively near future, there's zero reasons to be skittish any time soon.
